Help for Candida Albicans

Candida albicans is a fungus, a type of yeast, that lives in warm-blooded animals.  It is one of many organisms that live in our intestines, and is normally kept in balance with the rest of the microorganisms that live in our intestinal flora.  However, when a person’s immune system is compromised, these yeast can thrive, causing a whole host of symptoms.  Candida albicans will also thrive when nutritional intake is unbalanced.

A candida albicans infection can be difficult to diagnose, due to the varied symptoms that it produces.  Candida can affect the liver, the immune system, and cause allergic reactions.  It can cause digestive disorders, aches, fatigue, depression, and many other symptoms.  Since these could also be symptoms of other problems, it is difficult to determine if candidiasis is the problem.  If you suspect you might have chronic candidiasis, you should speak with your doctor.

Sometimes, just treating candidiasis, even if you are unsure whether you really are infected or not, with proper nutrition and herbs can cause a significant improvement.  Drugs are available as well, but you will need to get a confirmed diagnosis from a doctor before starting that treatment option.  Starting with the nutritional route may prevent the need to take drugs, and provide relief from the infection.
